Good evening Castaways, and welcome to this week's IC! Tonight's challenge is called "Preparing the Camps." In this challenge, you will prepare your camps just like they do in the TV version of Survivor.
Each tribe has been split into two teams as shown below:
Kralendijk:
Team 1 - Ashley, Elliott, and Yasin
Team 2 - Arthur, Jill, and Tyler
Rincon:
Team 1 - Christy, David, and Jennifer
Team 2 - Brandon, Candi, and Tamara
Due to a family emergency, Jen will be unable to participate at this IC. Therefore, I chose randomly for a Castaway to sit out for Rincon, and I chose Colleen.
The first step in the game of Survivor is to receive your buffs! However, instead of me giving you those buffs, Team 1 of each tribe will be creating them! Using Paint, Photoshop, or other photo-editing software, you must create a buff that includes the name of your tribe, the names of everyone in your tribe, and your tribe color. (Kralendijk is blue and Rincon is green.) Once you have created a buff, upload the file to a photo-hosting site such as Imageshack or Photobucket, and post the image code in your tribe's thread entitled "IC #2 - Team 1." After someone from Team 1 has posted a buff, the other two members of that team must approve it by posting "I approve this buff," in the same thread. Once that is done, Team 1's job is done!
As for Team 2, your job is to build a shelter for your tribe! To do this, you will each post a picture of a component of the shelter in your tribe's thread entitled "IC #2 - Team 2." The components of your shelter are sand, wood, and palm leaves. These components must be posted in that order. After each person on Team 2 has posted the three pictures, Team 2 is finished for this challenge!
Both teams may begin this IC simultaneously. The first tribe to complete both tasks of this IC will win Immunity and be safe from this week's TC. As for the losers, your date with me at TC will begin on Thursday.
You have until 3:30 PM tomorrow to complete this IC. If neither tribe has completed by that time, than the tribe that got the furthest will win. If there is a tie, the tribe that posted their final task faster will win.
If you have any questions, please ask! Survivors ready? Go!
